Back in the days a cabaret was a spectacle of some sort, something special to go and see. In 2000, when we have seen it all, cabaret and varietee doesn’t move us anymore, and with the help of social media we recreate ourselves as spectacles online instead. With photoshop, fancy quotes and epic photography life becomes cabaret and we become the main actors. Furthermore in our balancing act, spiritual search through fancy meditation and yoga imagery becomes a fashion and the line in-between cabaret and yoga is rarely questioned. Online, Everything is yoga and yoga is everything.
Spiritual Cabaret was first performed in Dschungel Theatre, Wien, and then after in Tanz.Coop’s Tanztag celebration in Festsaal Des Bezirksvorstehung Alsergrund, Wien.
