Dialogue for one

Concept, performance

Hallein, Austria.

2016

Dialogue for 1 is an interactive installation of multiple framed identities. A female protagonist is been exhibited in different characters intercommunicating with each other. The viewer is been invited to participate the play by moving around picture frames, and thus creating new stories and mini-dialogues of the same person in different clothes. By changing clothes and behaviour the protagonist is presenting different roles an individual can take, many times sticking with his or hers decision and thereafter building a lifestory exclusively around this specific prototype.

Dialogue for 1 is an installation where technology meets performing arts and audience participation in a setting where the border of performer, viewer, you and me is blurred. With a splash of magic it captivates the audience for a play which can take a minute or an hour, always with a different story.
